How This Academy Works
What this academy is — and what it isn't
Straight answer to the question you should be asking: why is this free? Because PHVA is a talent pipeline, not a course business. Our placement partner, Cineminn Media Co, connects trained VAs with US clients — the model works when you become genuinely hireable, so every incentive here points at making you good, not at selling you upsells.
The path, start to finish
Why 80%, and why scenarios
The quizzes don't ask definitions — they put you in a moment ("your client messages at 2am, the file is corrupted, what's first?") and check your judgment, because judgment is the thing employers actually pay for and the thing no one can cram. The 80% bar exists because a certificate that's easy to get is worthless to show. If certificates from here start meaning nothing, priority placement means nothing, and the whole model collapses — so we protect the bar.
Your profile is the product
Here's roughly what an employer sees when they browse the talent pool:
Same talent pool, different universes. Every drill you've done in this course — the Market Reality Sheet, the judgment audit, the Setup Sheet, the Lane Decision Memo — has a home on that profile. The people who skip drills aren't saving time; they're choosing the second row.
Live weekly trainings
Recorded lessons build knowledge; live rooms build the thing employers actually buy — how you communicate under mild pressure. Every week the events page runs live sessions: skill workshops, Q&A with working VAs, mock-interview practice, and occasional employer sit-ins. Sessions run in the PH evening so they fit around graveyard schedules; replays post within a day, but replays don't get you seen. Attendance is tracked on your profile the same way certificates are.
The honest deal
Here is the entire arrangement in one paragraph. We give you the best free training we can build, real market data with confidence labels, and a talent pool employers actually browse. You give the drills real effort, keep your profile honest (a faked speedtest or borrowed portfolio gets found — and ends the relationship), and treat placement as something you earn odds toward, not something you're owed. Most graduates will land mid-band jobs and climb from there. That's not a sales pitch; that's the market, and you already know how to read it.
Do this now
Twenty minutes, two artifacts. First: finish your profile to 100% — upload the Setup Sheet and speedtest from Lesson 5, attach your Lane Decision Memo from Lesson 6, and record the 60-second voice intro if you haven't (script it, say it warmly, don't read it robotically).
Second: open the events page and register for this week's live training — whichever session matches your chosen lane, or the general Q&A if none does. Then take the quiz. Pass it, and the next course on your lane's track is where the real skill-building starts.
